The Lakewood Resource and Referral Center (LRRC), in collaboration with Living Smarter Jewish (LSJ), is excited to announce a free financial education event designed to help local families navigate rising costs in today’s challenging economy. The event will take place on Wednesday, January 22, at 8:00 pm at Lakewood Middle School, 855 Somerset Ave, Lakewood, NJ.

Attendees will hear from renowned speakers about practical financial strategies and the importance of fiscal responsibilities.

Featured speakers include:

  • Rabbi Moshe Hauer, Executive Vice President of the Orthodox Union
  • Rabbi Eliezer Gewirtzman, Dayan of Coventry Shul

“Rising expenses, particularly housing, are making it increasingly difficult for families to stay on top of their finances,” said Sarah Sternbach, Director of the LRRC. “We are grateful to the distinguished presenters and to LSJ for partnering with us to make this valuable resource available to the entire community.”

Event Highlights:

  • Stories from the Trenches: Hear practical tips and experiences from community leaders and experts who understand the challenges of keeping finances in check.
  • One-on-One Financial Coaching: Sign up for free sessions with LSJ coaches.
  • Networking: Connect with LRRC housing specialists and LSJ financial advisors for personalized guidance.

This event is part of the LRRC’s continued commitment to providing educational resources that promote financial stability and well-being in the community. All are encouraged to attend and bring their friends and family to take advantage of the available support and expertise.
